Reporting to the project coordinator, the volunteer will contribute to the development of the strategy to set up an agri-food marketing cooperative. It will also support specialists in the development of environmental and gender equality strategies.
1-year position in Ghana, based in Bolgatanga, with frequent travelling to the Upper East Region. Desired departure date: May 2019

The PROCED-SOCODEVI, a five-year project funded by the Government of Canada, aims to support the development of women in parboiled rice production in the Upper East region through the reinforcement capacity of producers, co-operative enterprises and public and private partners.

Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent resident
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Rural Development and/or equivalent experience; a Post-graduate education in Business Management, Cooperative Development, Project Management, Marketing or Entrepreneurship experience will be considered an advantage.
