Together, we’re celebrating the result of hard work by the indigenous Arhuaco community in Colombia, which directly exported 7.5 tons of organic cocoa to two companies in the Netherlands, Chocolate Makers and Crafting Markets.

Some 30 families contributed to this international success as part of cooperatives supported by SOCODEVI’s AGROEMPRENDE CACAO project, highlighting the importance of joining forces for greater economic power and better quality of life.
But their achievements don’t stop there—with the support of the region’s cocoa organization (ASOPROAGRO), which brings together almost 60 additional families, they also exported a further 14 tons of cocoa to the United States.
It’s a huge success for the Colombian families whose determination is helping them conquer international markets!
