STRONG’HER

The STRONG’HER project, a five-year initiative implemented in Ethiopia by SOCODEVI. The project aims to enhance the capacity of rural and urban women to develop and adopt climate resilient practices, and to participate actively in decision-making processes. thereby ensuring they have control over resources and benefits and can expand their networks to fortify their resilience.

TRASOL project is an initiative that will promote and protect the rights and needs of women and girls working in paid care in both Honduras and Guatemala. SOCODEVI will spend four years implementing the project, which will more fairly redistribute care obligations and address the basic needs of 4,500 women and 1,250 girls working in this field, in order to truly recognize their contributions.

This project will continue the efforts made by the PROMAVI initiative in Bolivia to consolidate the inclusive development of the tara value chain. Over 3,000 indigenous families, including 1,800 women, will be able to improve their living conditions thanks to SAYARIY.

In Niger, the DEVENIR project will aim to reduce gender inequalities that have a direct impact on the rights, health and economic empowerment of women and young women.

Morocco

In Morocco, over 3,000 people, including Berber populations, will benefit from the FERMA project. Using an integrated approach to forest ecosystem management, the project will work with twenty-five women's cooperatives in the Khénifra National Park region, supporting their resilience in the face of climate change.

Improved conditions for over 8,000 people living in protected areas in the Saloum and Casamance deltas, including 6,000 women. Project activities will enhance the biodiversity of mangrove ecosystems, promote inclusive governance of protected areas, and develop and strengthen profitable value chains that respect the conservation and preservation of these ecosystems.
