Jean-Philippe has nearly 20 years of experience in international cooperation, both in humanitarian action and development. With close to 15 years of field experience in Africa and Haiti, he has led and supervised numerous projects and programs, including those related to health and peace education, food security and agricultural development, access to justice for survivors of gender-based violence, and good governance. His vision: a fairer and more equitable world where everyone has the opportunity to live with dignity.
Director of Administration and Finance
With more than 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management, Caroline has worked in several industries where she mastered project-based accounting. While overseeing large investment projects, she has developed and improved multiple accounting tools and processes. Socodevi’s mission and human values were strong motivations in her choice of organization. Passionate about travel, Caroline is also drawn to Socodevi’s international scope, which allows her to discover new cultures.
Director of Human Resources
Throughout her career, Catherine has held positions with increasing responsibilities, allowing her to broaden her areas of activities to include not only human resources but also operations. She has led and contributed to various large-scale projects, including the implementation of new salary scales, performance management systems, and various acquisition and restructuring initiatives. Socodevi is a real professional favorite for her. Brilliant, enthusiastic, and motivated colleagues are part of her daily life — what more could one ask for?
Director of Strategy and Development
Chanèle has held various positions within humanitarian and development organizations in the areas of social inclusion and the protection and empowerment of women and girls, particularly in crisis contexts in Africa and the Middle East. In her 12-year career, she has developed extensive experience in program development, coordination, and implementation, as well as in the management of key projects, notably in response to Ebola and the Syrian crisis.
Director of the International Program
François is an expert in project planning and management who has worked with a wide range of international organizations, particularly in Latin America and Maghreb. With more than 25 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge in inclusive economic development and strategic planning for development. He is a strong advocate of the power of collective entrepreneurship and the role of civil society in fighting inequalities, discrimination, violence, and social and economic exclusion.
Director of Philanthropy and Communications
Frédéric has extensive experience in managing and developing charitable organizations. For nearly 30 years, he has been working in international development, humanitarian action, and philanthropy both in Canada and abroad. At Socodevi, he brings together his two passions: strengthening the capacities of the most vulnerable through cooperation, and mobilizing generosity and solidarity within communities.
Director of Consulting Services and Innovation
Marie-Christine has always worked in the food systems sector, first as an agronomist and later as a multidisciplinary researcher. She has unique expertise, marked by 25 years of experience in various fields, including agronomy, statistics, remote sensing, agroforestry, food security, and climate change resilience. She worked for 12 years developing tools to strengthen the resilience of farming families in several countries.
